Anodized 3 Position Metal RATL-R Safety Cam

 2/21/2026: Our machine shop informed us that the order will be delayed by two weeks. New expected arrival date is going to be the middle of March. All current preorders have been notified of the delay.

Don't chance it with plastic... these safety cams are machined from 7075 Aluminum and anodized black to provide you with confidence that your safety will always function as expected. The stiff semi shelf will not yield like the plastic did which would allow the sear to engage. These provide a more noticeable click over the plastic version, giving you that true three position fun button feeling. 

This is a direct adaptation of the Duality released Cam, cleaned up and optimized for manufacturing. The dimensions are much closer to the original design, meaning that these should work flawlessly in semi and RATL mode. Testing shows no trigger movement upwards in semi mode. That said, there may be some minimal shaving/tuning that is needed for each individual gun on the RATL mode, but test it before you change it. It's unlikely, but that is our disclaimer. 

IMPORTANT: Please Read!

Do not overtighten the selector switch onto the cam, a little bit of blue Loctite goes a long way. Snug is good enough, once it goes righty loosey you do not get another chance. 

Troubleshooting:

The newest batch has a thicker semi wall to make absolutely positive that it cannot go RATL in semi mode. With this, some material may need to be shaved from the top of the semi shelf in order to tune the trigger pull to be the same weight as the 3D printed cams you might have been using. If you feel a very heavy or two stepped trigger pull, you will need to shave this wall down a little bit.

We found that removing some material from this spot helped the most on the semi trigger pull, only about half a millimeter needed to be removed on our 3 different test bed pistols. Since all of the FCG's have slight tolerance differences, your mileage may vary in how much you need to take off. Fortunately, it can be sanded while installed so you won't need to take down the trigger each time you check clearance. Doing this does not void any warranty or return claims, as this is suggested directly from us.
